Shipped Cocoon Starter Kit

Size2 containers

Start a colony from cocoons. Same support, much slower start. You supply the bin.

Read this part first.

Cocoons are the slow way to start a worm bin. You'll set everything up, and then for weeks it'll look like you're carefully tending a tote of damp cardboard. That's the product working correctly.

If you want to see worms on day one, get the Shipped Worm Starter Kit instead. Same price. I'd rather sell you the right thing than this thing.

$89, plus shipping calculated at checkout.

What you get

  • Worm cocoons, in two containers, plus any overeager wisps that couldn't wait to meet you, in the bedding they ship in.
  • A bottle of Date Night Blend worm chow, with a measuring scoop inside. You won't need it on day one. You'll be glad it's there when the wisps show up.
  • Shredded cardboard, packed around them for the trip. It goes in your bin as bedding when they arrive.
  • First 90 Days With Your Worms, my beginner field guide. PDF, emailed after you order.
  • The Accidental Worm Murderer's Case Files, my free ebook, in the same email.
  • Free Standard membership in The Worm Wrangler Club, my community on Skool.

About that membership

It's not a trial, and it doesn't run out after a set number of days. There's no monthly Standard charge for you, and it stays free for as long as you stay in the group and the group keeps running. Premium is there later if you want it.

After you order, I email your invite to the address you used at checkout.

What's not in the box

No tote. No worm bin. No pre-compost. This is not a ready-made worm bin. You supply the container.

Who it's for

Patient beginners, and people who already keep worms and want to start a second bin from scratch.

How it ships

Ships to the lower 48 states on Monday and Tuesday. Shipping is calculated at checkout. Both ebooks come by email after you order, before the cocoons arrive.

Covered by my Live Arrival Guarantee. It covers shipping damage and material that arrives in clearly abnormal condition. It can't promise every cocoon hatches, because nobody can.

Quick questions

How many cocoons? I sell them by volume, in their bedding, and I don't count them. Counting cocoons by hand isn't a packing step. It's an afternoon.

How long until I see worms? Weeks, not days. It depends on temperature and how old the cocoons are. The book tells you what to expect while you wait.

What kind of container? A small one. The book explains why smaller is better for cocoons.

What's the catch on the free membership? You have to stay. Leave the group and the free seat goes with you.
